The Village Shul Hebrew School offers a welcoming space for Jewish children to gather on Sunday mornings or after school, fostering a blend of learning and enjoyment in a relaxed environment. In this nurturing setting, kids delve into their Jewish heritage and culture, exploring the Hebrew language, holidays, and traditions. Through engaging activities such as arts and crafts, games, and various exercises, they acquire a profound understanding of Judaism and enhance their Hebrew reading skills – all while wearing smiles and having an enjoyable time. ALEPH CHAMP HEBREW READING PROGRAM
Aleph Champ draws inspiration from Karate and categorizes Hebrew reading skills into 10 distinct colored levels.
The program incorporates enjoyable games and activities designed to assist students in achieving their learning objectives.
Advancing to a higher level within Aleph Champ becomes a source of pride for students, fostering a self-motivated approach to success.

HOLIDAY LEARNING
Jewish holidays spring to life within our classrooms as we kick off each holiday unit with captivating and thrilling stories specific to that occasion. Students actively ready themselves for the upcoming celebrations and delve into the traditions through interactive lessons, games, activities, and hands-on arts and crafts.

WEEKLY PARSHA (BIBLE) STORIES
Our weekly Parsha (Bible) stories stand out as a particular highlight for our students. These stories skill-fully unravel the intricacies of the Parsha of the week, captivating young minds with mesmerizing tales, intriguing explanations, and brilliant illustrations. This approach allows children to grasp the depth of the stories in a unique and unparalleled manner.

HEBREW LANGUAGE SKILLS
The Hebrew language is introduced in structured units and further reinforced in the classroom through engaging games and activities.

Sukkah Meet & Greet: This thrilling event kicks off the year with an exciting dinner in our community-wide sukkah, complemented by an engaging show. It sets the tone for the excitement and enriching experiences that lie ahead.

Shabbat Dinner: Our annual Hebrew School Shabbat dinner stands out as a highlight for many. This uplifting evening, filled with Jewish nachas (pride), provides parents with a glimpse into their children's experiences and knowledge gained at Hebrew School. The charismatic Rabbi Tzvi leads engaging programming throughout the night.

Graduation Ceremony: Culminating the year, our students partake in the community-wide Shabbat kiddush during the graduation ceremony. They receive certificates and well-deserved acknowledgment for their accomplishments, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.
PARENT LEARNING
The speed at which our children learn and acquire new skills is truly remarkable. As your child progresses in Hebrew reading skills, you too can embark on this learning journey.
